Classical Christian education is a holistic approach to shaping the hearts and minds of young people that has deep roots in Western tradition and Christian practice.  Classical education emphasizes independence of mind, clarity of writing, and winsomeness of speaking. The bedrock of a classical curriculum is the liberal arts, framed in the categories of the trivium—grammar,  logic and rhetoric. Christian education identifies Jesus Christ as the center of human life and teaches students to see their whole existence in relation to Jesus. Bringing those ideas together, classical Christian education seeks to equip young people with a breadth of knowledge and a depth of wisdom, all framed within the context of Christ’s mission and preeminence, so that students can move into adulthood ready to live out their lives as an expression of God’s goodness, beauty and excellence. 

Many students lack a classical education before enrolling. We use tests and family interviews to check a student’s learning level. This helps us place them in the right classes. We also provide training in basic skills and knowledge. Students who are eager to learn and have supportive families tend to succeed the most.

Learning cohorts are small, multi-age groups of students who progress together based on skill, mastery, and developmental readiness, rather than the traditional age-graded system. Learn more about learning cohorts.

Christian Crossroads offers grades K-6th, depending on enrollment.

 We meet Mondays through Thursdays from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. 

Accreditation takes time for new schools to achieve. We do however provide transcripts which meet all the criteria for college entrance. Christian Crossroads is a member of the Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS) and is currently partnering with Concordis Education Partners to meet all standards and best practices, as we pursue accreditation. 

Yes. We operate as a non-profit 501c3 organization. 

We don't want tuition costs to stop your child from attending Christian Crossroads Academy. So, we fundraise to create a financial aid fund based on need. We use Benefaq to assess financial need. If you want to apply for tuition assistance, please email info@ccand.org.

School uniforms offer many benefits. They serve as a visual reminder of a common purpose: learning. Uniforms reduce distractions that can divide students, like social status or brand names. They help promote a shared identity. While clothing can express individuality, uniforms remind students that their true expression comes from their character and choices as image-bearers of God. 

Latin is a structured language. This makes it great for learning grammar and appreciating language. It’s the root of Romance languages like French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Romanian. This gives a strong base for learning other languages. Latin was also spoken in Rome during Jesus’s time, offering insight into that era’s history and culture. Many Christian texts were written in Latin, giving access to important theological and historical works.

Studying Latin also helps with understanding English. Around 80% of English vocabulary comes from Latin. It also forms the vocabulary in many careers, like law and medicine.

God has not gifted every child the same way, but He values each one equally. We aim to reflect God’s love for children. We strive to serve all kids who want our education. We know some students may need special academic and relational support. We provide these accommodations based on individual needs and expert advice. 

No, we do not accept federal or state funding of any kind. This includes government tuition assistance programs such as vouchers or grants. By remaining privately funded through tuition and charitable giving, we preserve the freedom to provide a Christ-centered education without government oversight or interference in our curriculum, hiring, or policies. This allows us to remain faithful to our mission and biblical convictions in all areas of school life.
